CYNAPSE has an information governance framework to ensure that appropriate security, access arrangements and data review processes are created and adhered to.

Data are generated by individual researchers, who are legally responsible for the safe storage and use of the datasets. Any data for inclusion in CYNAPSE will be reviewed to confirm that it meets a minimum set of standards. The CYNAPSE Service Delivery team have developed a process to ensure all Information Governance and data access procedures are followed.

Users of the platform will need to agree to the Acceptable Use Policy which can be viewed here.
